Bootblacking

One of Riley's greatest interests is the restoration and care of boots. Riley first learned how to shine boots from his dad, but soon honed his skills as an apprentice to Leslie Anderson and Suka Malone (International Ms. Bootblacks 1999 and 2005 respectively).

Riley sees bootblacking as a way to provide a valuable service to his community. He is always grateful for the opportunity to shine and is happiest when he’s getting dirty in one form or another.
